This issue of Focus came out awhile ago, but I just finally received a copy today. I shot the cover for this, with Dom Johnson risking life and limb for the lens.

Spencer and I shot this a bit ago, and were waiting for the right time to unleash it to the world. I can honestly say it was one of the most impressive things i’ve ever witnessed, and it deserved the cover of SBC, with or without me behind the camera. Also inside is a 16 page feature on Spence which we shot together as well. To top it off, it was almost all shot in China. Can’t wait to get back out there on another shoot.

For those who follow my work, it might be no surprise to you that I mainly shoot with a Leaf back, and have for years. In my opinion, there isn’t much better out there for my images. So when Leaf asked me to be apart of its 2010 calendar, it was something I didn’t want to pass up. It really is an honor to be recognized by them, and even more so that they want my work to be showcased in such a prestigious way. We have a few more big things we are working on together that will be shown soon. You can pick up this calendar at finer camera retailers around the globe.
